Let us travel back in time to when Ra, Obelisk and Slifer were young. Their father, Teishu Oozora ruled over the universe. He ruled with his wife and together they had 7 children.
Ra was the eldest and therefore the birthright of rule was his. But his father favored Obelisk. His mother favored Ra. Oozora made plans to give Obelisk a gift that would give him an unstoppable form. When his mother heard this she went in secret to Ra and told him of his fathers plan. That night Ra stole the item and with it gained his Unstoppable Phoenix Form.
When Oozora found out he was furious and he placed a limit on the amount of time and frequency that Ra could use his Phoenix Form. This only angered Ra further. Still wanting to give his favorite child a gift Oozora gave Obelisk the ability to gain unlimited power. Out of anger Ra used his Unstoppable Form to interfere. He wasn't able to stop the gift but he made it so that Obelisk would have to sacrifice two beings in order to unlock his Unlimited Power.
Oozora turned on his eldest son and the two battled. As Oozora aimed a deathly blow at his son his wife intervened and took the blow for her son.
Ra convinced his brothers and sisters that their father had intentionally murdered their mother and they agreed to attack their father. The battle lasted for months, neither side being able to gain an upper hand. Finally Ra decided that they should seal their father away using as much of their power as possible.
Ra went off from the battle to prepare the gate. The others worked to push their father towards the gate. As the gate opened their father resisted. Ra used his Unstoppable Phoenix form but even still his father held on. Sensing that time was running out for his form Ra called on his siblings for help. The two youngest sacrificed themselves to give Obelisk the unlimited power. Obelisk used it to push his father in and set the seal.
Then came the struggle for power. Ra insisted that he should rule as he was the oldest. His brother didn't agree with him and in the resulting conflict Ra killed his brother. This left Ra, Obelisk, Slifer and Exodia. To save from further bloodshed Ra wiped the events from the minds of his brothers. Exodia however continued to remember.
Eventually Ra was forced to seal Exodia away. It took 5 seals to seal away his power as Ra didn't have unlimited power like Obelisk did. Ra then wiped Exodia from his brothers minds also.
To this day Ra is still the only one who knows the true history of his family. Exodia knows but he has no way of contacting his brothers Obelisk or Slifer.
However the seal that binds Oozora has weakened throughout the eons. What will happen if the Titan Oozora is released again into the universe?
(I know it needs some more tooling and details but this is just the ground work.)
