Ah the holidays...
Nothing like celebrating the birth and rise of their mighty god of creation who was the Sun Dragon Ra. It seemed all the monsters, big and small, from all over their dimension put aside their differences for this day, and join up in big celebration. And the dragons were no exception...
Sapphire glanced at the ballroom which was adorned in festive decorations in honor of the holidays. She was hosting an immense party which was right in her own home, at the mountains. She has made sure that every leader from all realms, and cities were invited, even the ones that were secluded in the abyss of Dark World. If anyone had troubles finding her home it was no problem, her gigantic guards would escort them no big deal.
Why was she going to such a great length to invite every single important being from both realms? Well she wanted to get to know them outside of wars and disputes, she wanted to study them, their likes and dislikes, how they would react in seeing their enemies in one roof...she wanted to know...
But of course she knew that maybe one would be foolish enough to cause a riot, and oh was she prepared for this... Dozens of her best dragon soldiers were all scattered around her palace, ready to handle any situation at hand, ready to risk their limbs for their leader, and their nation. Sapphire will make sure that this party will go a hundred percent smoothly, and she will also make sure that her guests will have a good time as well.
Sapphire looked at the main entrance of the salon, as her first guests were making their appearance. She chuckled slightly and got up from were she was sitting to greet them, fixing a few wrinkles that her clothing had. The dragon woman was wearing quite an elegant dress, it was white which was her favorite color, but was adorned in many decorations which were red, her other favorite color. Her hair fell past her shoulders, and she was wearing her best jewelry.
Oh yes to the ignorant she was simply one gorgeous woman, but to those that knew her very well she was anything but a simple female. She was beautiful, and incredibly deadly.
"It's a real pleasure to see you again Sapphire. You look as lovely as ever" chuckled a middle aged man, bowing slightly to her. He was as elegant as her, with his long blond hair tied in a ponytail.
"It is nice to hear from you again general Freed. Please make yourself at home" she smirked, and extended her hand, showing the gentleman the tables were the exotic foods, and drinks were present.
Well if that stubborn general came, then I am pretty sure we will get to see some pretty interesting characters today...
She sighed.

It was just another typical holiday for the young mage, as he was making his way up to the marvolus castle up ahead. He sighed heavily as he had recieved a letter from his grandfather, saying that he should attend a party in his stead. In the letter, he wanted him to at least mingle and try to get to know a few of the other creatures around in the party that he was invited to, as the mage was coming up to the doorstep. "Geez old man...why cant you go to parties that 'you' are supposed to go to."
Mahado appeared in a much more appealing attire, wearing a jeweled robe around his figure, and his armor padded sholders were shining with a polished sheen. His leggings were also finely polished up as well, and his staff was at his side as usual, not one to keep himself unarmed from any'thing' that would cause him trouble, as he knocked at the front door of the castle. <I just hope I dont end up meeting those who I met before...> He thought, as he was waiting for reply.

In the air, Mahado would suddenly feel a... chilling presence; as if someone with malicious intent was approaching the castle. A black mist began creeping up along the castle, and the sound of a massive being stomping his way towards the castle was perfectly audible...
"...why, dear, did we have to accept this invitation?"[/b] a viciously dark voice growled, as a veritable king made his way towards the castle gate. It belonged to a towering man wearing pitch-black, onyx-forged armor, whose elbows and shoulders were adorned with spiked, ivory-colored pads for further protection. His face, which was in the shape of a skull, also had two horns protruding from each side of his head, and he seemed... relatively reluctant to even come here. "Are these maggots even worth my precious time?"[/b]
"Now, now, my liege; it's always a good thing to mingle with the lesser during the holidays." his escort mused with a slight chuckle. She had a long mane of beautiful silver hair reaching far past her thighs, a red-and-black crown of sorts with a lone emerald adorned in its center, and a dress primarily adorned with three colors; crimson, ebony and ivory. Her long, slender gloves gave her a sense of elegance; which was a clear contrast to the towering bringer of death she was walking with. "It would give them a better impression of you."
"...a better impression of me? The King of Armageddon?"[/b] the dark king hummed, before scoffing. Each word he spoke seemed to bring a cold sense of dread to anyone who wasn't his wife, as if just ending a sentence could turn anyone into a statue of ice. "Ruin, my sweet, I think you're overestimating how willing the peasants are to compromise."[/b]
"Oh, that's quite alright, my dear Demise." the queen, Ruin, said with a slight smile. Even though her husband was such a monster, she didn't seem the slightest bit intimidated by him; in fact, she seemed rather pleased that he was outright calling their gracious hosts peasants and maggots. "It's just for one evening. After this, we may return."
"...hm. Well, I am curious to see how they intend to keep us entertained for the night..."[/b] the king, Demise, hummed with a slow nod. "...as long as they don't force me to sing carols. I cannot stand those; they are far too cheerful for my tastes."[/b]

"My dear please go and open the doors for our guests"
"Yes mother..."
Kinasha, who was currently around the long dinner table, hurried, if not a little too quickly , over to the main entrance to the large castle. She was never really too fond of what her mother was doing. But maybe it was because she was failing miserably in actually starting an interesting conversation with some of the guests that were already there. Like trying to make that Terroking Archfiend laugh....
"Atleast Mr.Heraklinos has a better sense of humor..." she whispered while saying a brief hello to one of the warriors that arrived.
~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~
The large doors to the castle opened. Mahado and both dark overlords could see the what looked like the spitting image of Sapphire, but obviously this girl was far more younger, and innocence was still blooming in her eyes. She stepped out to greet them, wearing a simple yet elegant red dress that reached passed her knees, her white wings and tail clearly visible behind her, suggesting that she was a White Dragon.
"Thank you for taking your time..." Kinasha said as she JUST noticed who the heck her guests were, and if it weren't that her mother has taught her some manners, she would had crumble right onto the floor.
The mage...her mother has told her about her 'lovely' encounter with this one, and while mother and the samurais weren't really good allies with the mages, she was just neutral with them, never really understanding why all these hate and war.
Now the other two...how the HECK did her mother contacted these two!? The woman, was incredibly beautiful, and a glimpse of elegance could be seen irradiating from her petite form. But her companion? Death was all she could smell coming from him, and it took every fiber from her small being to not actually start to shiver in fear.
"I need to talk to mother on how she gathers her...friends" she said to herself before giving them a polite nod and stepping aside so they could enter.

One by one each of the invited guests had begun to arrive at the main hall of the castle. There was defiantly an odd assortment of different creatures gathered together and even creatures from the dark realm had worked up enough spirit to show up, as unexpected as that was. The only guest who had entered earlier without saying a word to anyone was the Black Luster Solider, one of the two Envoys. He had slowly mad his way into the back of the hall and positioned himself discreetly in the corner to observe everything else which transpired in the room. His arms were crossed, his sword and shield were hoisted on his back, and his eyes were barely visible from beneath his helmet; only the two red glowing gem eye which decorated it.
Envoy slowly observed the duo of Demise and Ruin entering the hall. It was an interesting choice of guests and their powers were in fact somewhat similar to the soldier's own, as well as the powers of his nemesis the Chaos Emperor Dragon. In any case none of this really mattered to Envoy and he would continue to do the same thing he always had, observe and not get too involved.

The next monster to have entered was a lot more colorful than the others. He was currently dressed...well, quite a bit like santa clause. His attire was no longer offensively purple, but red with a white trim. His hat was gone, replaced with a hat Santa often wore, and he seemed very...very jolly.
"Merry christmas, one and all!" The fiend laughed to all at the party, the grin on his face NEVER leaving.

Sapphire watched as her daughter dissapeared to greet her newly arrived guests, she shock her head a bit and pressed a fine glass cup on her lips. It was eggnog with a little bit of alcohol to spice things up a bit, because hey she might be the host of this party but no one ever told her that she couldn't enjoy it! Sipping on her drink she noticed a few of the guests and slowly made her way to one of them.
"Are you enjoying the evening festivities my dear Envoy?" she said with a small smirk while offering the chaos warrior a drink. Sapphire had great admiration for the warrior. He was incredibly strong, and respected, she knew that no one would ever backstab him...unless you want to face the wrath of his mighty sword.
Slowly turning around the dragon woman noticed the guests that Kinasha brought it, and she tilted her head to the side, one she once had the great 'pleasure' in meeting right in the woods, she was glad he came...maybe the magicians could show some backbone. The other two...Demise and Ruin, she thought they would deny her invitation, surely these two would 'brighten' the party...especially the dark overlord.
Sapphire blinked a bit at the other guest that she has never seen before. What was his name again? He was the one who was representing the great Dark Ruler Ha Des...he was...Ah! Yes, the Witty Phantom. Quite the colorful character he is.
"Merry christmas to you as well Phantom" she nodded politely.

"...and a lot of good cheer all around."[/b] Demise droned, as one could swear that he rolled his eyes... at least, if one could see them. "Why am I even here..."
"Oh, hush now, darling." Ruin hummed, as she gave her husband a gentle nudge. "You don't want them to think that we're uncivilized, do you?"
"Don't they already?"[/b] Demise quipped.
That actually caught a small chuckle from Ruin, who walked away from her husband to approach the party's host. "Happy holidays, Sapphire." she said with a smile, before producing a present from thin air. "Here; a little something from my side of the family."
"...bah..."[/b] Demise sighed, as he glanced towards the gate... where a quartet of guests were approaching. "...hm?"[/b]
"Happy holidays, everyone." The ones approaching the castle happened to be the Great Shogun Shien, and his ensemble; consisting of his chancellor Enishi, his aide Mizuho, and the Grandmaster of the Six Samurai, Kizan. "We do hope that we're not disturbing the festivities." While Mizuho, Kizan and Enishi were clad in more regal, festive clothing, Shien was fully decked out in his mighty armor, sans the helmet.
"...so, the Shogun couldn't leave his armor at home?"[/b] Demise noted dryly upon the sight of the incoming guests.
"Couldn't the same be said of you?" Mizuho inquired dryly.
"This is my casual appearance. What's his excuse?"[/b] Demise quipped back.
"...oh, he is quite snappy." Ruin chuckled whilst watching her husband banter with the feudal guests.

Post by Enthavion on Dec 15, 2011 13:10:23 GMT -5
Enthavion stirred slightly as he awoke from his sleep. Slowly his red eyes drifted open and he stared up at the dark ceiling of the cave. It takes him a few moments but finally he sits up and runs his hand through his hair to scratch his head. As he looks out towards the cave entrance a cold wind blows in whipping his hair to the side and revealing his face and headband. As he takes in the morning he rises to his feet and steps towards the cave entrance.
As he looks out at the valley below him he can't help but notice the unusual guests to the area. As he looks closer his perception starts to pick up the individual energies of the creature down below. Enthavion thinks to himself *Demise, Ruin, the Dark Magician, Envoy, the Witty Phantom, Sapphire and Kinasha the Blue Eyes White Dragon? All together?*
It had been a few weeks that his sleep had lasted so he was not aware of the actual date. However using clues and previous experience he would soon deduce the truth.
*It must be in Celebration of Ra. That would also explain the temperature.* However always a cautious (if not completely curious) person Enthavion decides to investigate the matter closer. If someone had been watching the spot where he stood they might have rubbed their eyes soon after as he teleported down the mountainside.
As he approaches the bottom of the mountain he powers down and cloaks his presence. He runs from one hiding spot to the next, behind tree's, behind large boulders, until the castle is but 200 yards away. From here he begins his observations. He witnesses as Kinasha opened the door and escorted the guests inside.
These people weren't unknown to Enthavion. He had met some of them and heard of others. Kinasha and Sapphire he knew personally, though he didn't see them often. *It's been 2 years since I've visited this castle.* Ruin and Demise he had met but not under any favorable circumstances. The Phantom was someone who was nearly as illusive as Enthavion himself. The Envoy was known to him as well. They had partnered a few times to fight as the Dragon Master Knight.
Finally deciding that the event was as he had guessed Enthavion drops his guard and teleports himself to the door of the castle. He could of course have teleported inside but he was not one to be rude and just invite himself in. He raises the large knocker and lets it fall upon the door creating a loud "KNOCK" *I wonder who else might show up?* Enthavion thinks to himself as the he waits for the door to be answered.

"Same to you Ruin, and I might add that your dress is quite lovely" chuckled the dragoness, nodding slightly as she caught the small rectangular box with one hand "Why thank you. I also have a little trinket from my side of the family for all of you" she pointed to a table were many small, highly decorated boxes were sitting "There is one with you and your husbands name in it, hope you enjoy it very much"
Sapphire smiled slightly, while glancing over to the gate, noticing the other guests who were making their presence. She chuckled and walked over to the warriors "Ah it's a pleasure that you all could come" said the dragoness giving them a polite bow "And happy holidays to you as well, please enjoy your stay"
She chuckled in amusement at how...friendly Demise was being. He reminded her of her passed away husband, heck she used to remember the amusing arguments both men had.
"It is still quite amusing to watch..." said Sapphire standing over to Ruin, and taking a small sip of her drink "I have a feeling this party will turn out quite nicely" she chuckled.
~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~
Once Kinasha let Demise and his wife pass, she also got to greet the samurais. She had great respect for them so she quickly also let the inside with a smile. When she closed the doors it didn't took a minute for it to knock again, and she quickly turned around to answer and see who it was. Her mother has invited MANY unusual guests so she was quite excited to see who it was.
When she opened the door and saw who it was, she couldn't help but to put place her hand over her lips, and gasp.
"Uncle Enthavion!" she said in a happy tone. She knew him personally, and while he was a very...VERY distant relative she always calls him by 'uncle'

Post by Enthavion on Dec 15, 2011 13:33:40 GMT -5
Enthavion can't help but smile as he hears the word "uncle" attached to his name. His voice is calm and though he is happy it lacks any emotion. The only evidence of his emotion is in his eyes which at that moment are soft and open rather than the narrow, observant and calculating look he usually has. "How have you been Kinasha?"
Enthavion isn't one to speak any more than is needed. In most conversations he spends nearly all of it just listening. The only real way to get him to speak is to ask him a question or, as is the case in this moment, if he knows you enough to actually warrant a greeting.
His demeanor is often mistaken for arrogance but rather he realizes that what he has to say isn't always what people want to hear and thus he always thinks carefully before speaking.
Every time he comes to visit Sapphire it's normally to bring her news of what is happening in the world at large. This time is not so different, he does have information, but what he has to say will have to wait until after the party when the guests are gone.

Mahado happened to hid himself away from the crowd of almost what he seemed to be dragons, fiends, warriors, and other creatures...but no one of his own type. He figured that he might as well try to stay out of their way and just enjoy the party while he was around.
<Dumb old man throwing me here...Ill just have to be sure to give him a peice of my mind if I ever see his face...> The frowning mage says as he was just passing by a few of the guests around him.
Mahado wasnt one to try to enjoy company, as he usually crammed himself with books and other things to keep him busy. He enjoyed just working alone, and studying on his magic more than mingling with other creatures....especually those who might end up tearing him up limb from limb. He couldnt help but look to a few Blue-Eyes dragons that were about, especually with the one who had 'dropped' in the forest where he lived. It was a bit comforting that they didnt pay him any attention, but at the same time, he was a bit held back on speaking out to them about the recent events.
Mahado just sighed slightly, just contining on his little path over to a window, just looking up at the sky with a drink in hand.

"Yes, it's quite an honor to be here.' he said with a laugh of his own as he approached further into the building, looking around and taking in the scenery around him, humming lightly to himself. "What can I say? I may be insane, but even I have a soft spot for the holiday seasons! Speaking of, we have a few guests entering...right....about........now."
At that moment the door opened and new figured stepped in. The Destiny Heroes, specifically Bloo-D, Dogma, Dreadguy, Diamond Guy and Doomlord. The five heroes walked in, looking about the area.
"Don't see why we gotta be here." Bloo-D grumbled, looking around.
"Because Sapphire invited us, and I will not allow you to ruin our holiday spirits." Diamond Guy scolded.

Sapphire chuckled slightly in amusement at the rather cheerful phantom, yes he was insane she had no doubt about it but she could guess that even he could enjoy the holidays for a while. She saw the magician from far away, it was actually pretty nice that he would take the time and come, if only the actual ruler of the mage village could actually show his face...but that was a problem she rather not want to have to deal with right now.
"I will be right back, please enjoy yourselves" nodded Sapphire to the dark couple and to the samurais while she slowly made her way to greet her new guests. They were the residents from the Dark City, and she was glad that they could also come along to enjoy the party. Ah...so many people from the Dark Realm, it really was making her party quite 'cheerful'
"I am so glad you could all come" Sapphire smirked slightly while she stood in front of the dark heroes and gave them a small bow "You must take a break from being in that gloomy place hmm?" she chuckled
~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~
"I'm fine! Wow! It has been such a long time!" Kinasha squealed with epic excitement, she could almost jump a million times with joy. Yea...it has been a very long time since she has seen Enthavion, and she was glad that he was back and boy what a time of the year! She knew her mother was going to flip!
"Come on!" she said, taking hold of his wrist, and literally pulling him inside the castle.

"...compared to home, this is a bit more colorful, yes."[/b] Demise mused dryly, as he simply glanced around him with a huff.
"Oh, don't be a grump, dear." Ruin chuckled. "They've done a fantastic job when it comes to decorating."
"...I suppose."[/b] Demise sighed.
"Come, now, why so gloomy?" Shien chuckled, as he patted Demise's back. "It's the holidays, so liven up, king!"
"...maybe sometime later, shogun."[/b] Demise retorted.
Though speaking of flipping... a towering figure would soon cast a shadow over the castle. "...are you sure about this? I mean, you didn't recieve an invitation, and the Machine King didn't accept his, so..."
"...I know." a figure perched on the giant's shoulder said with a slight smile. "...but... I'd like to spend this time of year with Kinasha."
"...very well... though I doubt that I'd fit inside of there." And he knocked as gently as he possibly could on the door... which, for someone his size, still created a loud noise that could be misinterpreted as someone slamming their hands against the gate.
