Making Preperations

[Kurts Highwind]

Kurts had left the forest from his meeting with Mahado, he made his way back to his villege down the road to the Grasslands, and byond. He was in a rush so he had to glide away in haste to his villege so he can warn the others about what Rajal was planning.

It was many years when that warrior had nearly wiped out his kind, taking the lives of anyone he came across with....women and childeren didnt matter to him. His clan was nearly finished if it wasnt for his father, driving him out of the villege before he was killed. Eventhough his clan was saved, he still had a hidden hatred for the warrior....and for most warriors in particular.

It was about an hour later that he decided to walk for the rest of the trip, as his wings were a bit sore from his previous trip to meet up with his friend. "I wish I was more stronger...." He says under his beated breat, while walking.

[Kinasha]

"Don't we all wish for that?" said a rather feminine voice just above him.

Kinasha after spending time with her warrior buddies decided to head back home, and instead of calling for escorts like she always does, she just decided to go by herself back home. She was jumping gracefully over the tree branches when she happened to notice the red-eyes male walking around so she decided to have a fun conversation, why not?

She chuckled and leaned on the tree branch crossing her arms and legs, while her blue-eyes stared down back at him "I had heard from your clan from my mother. You are a red-eyes right?" she said giving him a small smile, if he knew of her...or her mother he would had been surprised since her mother was a horrifying leader while she was just a harmless (kind of..) being.

Kurts' ear twitched a bit as he looked up to see a female....but no ordinary female. From her white wings and tail, he could easily identify her with being that of the Blue-Eyes clan. Both the Blue and Red-Eyes had mutual respect for one another, but they hardly bump into one another much....and Kurts was a bit curious on what brought this female out this far from her tribes home.

"Its nothing. I had something important to do....Im just on my way home from visiting a friend in the forest." Kurts says as his wings wrapped around him, as he felt a bit unease about talking about the current situation with her. However it occured to him that the Blue-Eyes should be informed about it as well....hopefully if she would believe in what he had to say.

"I dont suppose your intrested in hearing me out though? I am in a rush, but if you can help, it would be appreciated. By the way, my name is Kurts....Kurts Highwind."

[Kinasha]

"Kurts eh? You are the next head of your clan, am I right?" Kinasha said still looking down at him, her mother has informed her well in a lot of things that were occurring in nearby clans, so she kind of knew about the red-eyes.

"Hmm? You want to tell me something?" she blinked slightly, and soon got up from the tree branch she was sitting on, quickly jumping down and landing in front of the male dragon like it was nothing (considering she was up more than 20 feet).

"Well what is it then?" she said wiping her clothes a little bit "Oh and by the way...I'm Kinasha"

"Kinasha huh? Your mother is the head of the clan now I presume huh?" He says, as he was also well informed about the Blue-Eyes. Nevertheless, he wasnt one to sweat the small details as he nodded. "Very well....but listen, this must not be said to anyone else aside from those who you can speak to. We would need everyones help inorder to stop what's to come."

Kurts took a deep breath and sighed, prepearing for Kinasha to hear what must be said.

"You happen to know of the Dragon Slayer? The one named Rajal?"

[Kinasha]

"Y-yea..." Kinasha shrugged, she was happy that her mother was the head of her clan but at the same time she just wished her father were still alive to see them...

She shook her head a bit, and cleared her throat, getting sad now was not the greatest idea, so she stared at him and simply nodded, shrugging as he seemed to be a little bit afraid of telling her what the heck was going on.

...and upon hearing the warriors name, her eyes narrowed dangerously, a deep growl coming from her throat "Of course I know who he is! You people never remembered that he dared to attack the Blue-Eyes!?" Kinasha growled angrily. Yes he indeed dared to attack them...but of course he was caught and stopped dead on his tracks by her own mother.

"He was a fool, and made the biggest mistake of his life in attacking us...it was a miracle my mother didn't killed him..." she grumbled, remembering the brutal attack the female did on the warrior, that happened years ago, and she wondered what the hell happened to him "So what about him...?"

It was obvious that the warrior did a move like that. He didnt care about his own well being...he only cared to rid of those who would get in his way. Kurts knew all to well that he was up to no good...and it was probably for the best for her to tell her mother about it, so she could be prepared.

"Well...My clan has been keeping tabs on that warrior's wearabouts for a long time. He had gone into hiding for a few weeks, but his activies has been....sporadic. Then a few months later he just disappeared. I know its only a gut feeling though, but I feel as though that he's up to something....so I had gotten contact with a mage friend who lives in the forest to warn the spellcasters about the coming threat. I hope you dont mind me asking, but I would like for the Blue-Eyes to also be prepared for this....even if its a gut feeling."

Kurts finally finished his little chat with her as he sighed a little, feeling as though he got a bit more off his chest.

[Kinasha]

So they had been watching the warriors tracks for a while and he disappeared? That indeed sounded a bit suspicious. Kinasha frowned slightly, placing a few fingers on her chin as she was in thought for a moment. She knew her mother will not believe her for a moment, but nevertheless she will tell her of the news.

"It sounds a bit suspicious alright, but alright...I will inform mom of this, if anything she will be the most prepared..." she told him with a nod, considering that her mother had numerous connections with a lot of important people across the Light Realm...as well as the Dark Realm.

"Good....we need all the help we can get." He says as he shuffles his hand into the pouch he had on him. "By the way....there's something I needed to show you. It might not be anything since no one knows what this....imprint is. But I figure you should see this."

Taking a little parchment scroll, he unrolls it and then reveals what was on it. It was a picture of an emblem, revelaing what looked like an insect, scarb-like, symbol on the scroll. "This is something that was found where we last found Rajal's hiding spot. Knowing that a few Blue-Eyes venture into the Dark Realm...I wondered if you know anything about this."

[Kinasha]

"Hmm? See what?" Kinasha tilted her head in curiosity as Kurts got out a scroll, and unrolled it for her to see. It seemed to be an emblem in shape of an insect, and she blinked a couple of times trying to search inside her head for any clues of what the heck it meant. Until...

"T-that's..." she suddenly gasped, standing straight, and taking one step back from him and the scroll, looking at the emblem like if it were the plague "T-that's...Steelswarm" she whispered, her eyes wide, raising both her hands and placing them on her cheeks "N-no...it can't be them...what does he want with them....why?" she stammered.

Yes...she knew of the Steelswarms, her fathers death was contributed by them, he was killed by none other than the big leader of the dark insects, Hercules. They were known to be ruthless critters in the Dark Realm...and her mother simply LOATHES them.

"S-Steelswarms?"

After hearing that, he suddenly dropped the scroll, but quickly picks it up. "Is that what's he after? What the heck does Rajal know who's he messing with.....they're a dangerous bunch to talk to!" Kurts quickly puts the scroll back into the pouch as he quickly puts his hands on Kinasha's sholder, trying to get her at ease, but also trembling at what they learned.

"Kinasha...you need to make haste to your tribe. This is dire if Rajal is going to work with the Steelswarms! If this is true...then we need to be more ready than ever!" The Red-Eyes says as he moved back and started to flap his large wings to hover. "Ill head over to my tribe and tell my mother. We all have to get the High Dragon Council in on the preperations....although I know they will not be willing to team with the Mages."

It was going to be difficult task, having dragons and mages work togeather cause of the laws that were put between the two. However he wasnt going to let this get to him as he was more then ready to put differences aside to help save the Shadow Realm.

[Kinasha]

Kinasha shook her head slightly, snapping back from her trance. She frowned and growled a bit while looking up at Kurts "I am sick and tired of the dragons, and warriors not getting along with the mages" she growled again taking a step back "I had tried to be friendly, even my MOTHER tried to be friendly when she met up with some magician in training back in the forest...but they just want to be thick headed about it, and wont listen to us..."

The dragon girl grumbled and crossed her arms "I don't care about our differences, if we need to fight together then we should. I am not going to let some stupid battle that begun because two old, and decaying people couldn't be friendly and put their differences aside!" she said, referring to the supposed battle that has been going on for centuries.

"I will talk to my mother...but after we do this, if the mages decide to be stupid about this I swear I will change my mind about thinking of them as good people" she said in all honestly.

His ear twitched about her mentioning about the mage in the forest....and he knew that couldve been the same mage he knew. "Your mom met up with Mahado? He's a old friend of mine. We've known one another for a long time since we were little...Im surprised someone like your mom would have dropped in on him."

It was rather suprising to him too, knowing how her mother is, Mahado must have had a hard time dealing with them....but knew to be a good host when dealing with such people. Nevertheless, he shook his head off the subject as he sighed. "I also agree with you on that. The people of the said races need to put their differences aside and just allow themselves to fight as one. With the threat of those.....Steelswarms....Im afraid of how powerful they will be if they ingage us in this kind of state."

Kinasha rolled her eyes as Kurts mentioned that Mahado was an old friend of his "Well tell that friend of yours that he needs to stop acting all emo, it will kill all the plants, and animals that are around his home...he needs to lighten up" she scoffed and crossed her arms a bit "Mother was hunting in the forest, and she happened to come across him...nothing more"

Kinasha shrugged slightly and scratched at her cheek, knowing very well that if things were true and the Steelswarms are involved, then her mother will go ballistic on everyone, she had a deep hatred for the fiends, and she had swore upon her fathers grave that she will avenge his death, and kill them all...slowly.

Kurts frowned at what she said about the mage...but he knew that Mahado wasnt one to be friendly with others. He would have to talk to the mage eventually, and see how things would progress, even if it ment pairing up with other dragons and warriors if it came to that. "I would have to agree too. Mahado maybe a bit arrogant, but he needs to at least try to open up a bit more....Ill have a word on that when I see him again."

He nodded as he was taking flight. "We must make haste now. I dont think we should linger around here too long. Make word to anyone else in your villege as well....If Rajal is planning as I suspect, we might be in for another war...." Kurts says to her, as he finally takes off again, heading to his villege.
